What does a laser on a red dot sight do?
I got a red dot sight with a flashlight on one side and a laser on the other. What is the laser for? If you zero in the red dot will the laser be zeroed in too?
The laser is for up close shooting. Like in a self defense situation it would allow you see the laser on the attacker, and shoot from the hip or shoot suddenly without taking the time to aim. If you only have adjustments on the red dot no it will not move the laser, but if you have two sets of adjustments one is probably for the laser. Like I said it’s for short distances so even if its not zeroed in it should hit the target within 10-20 yards.
